Rutland Open Studios 2020

2020 was going to be my first year as a member of Rutland Open Studios, and Nick Hamilton had very kindly agreed for me to use the Garden Studio in order to participate in the event. I was so looking forward to it, however, after very careful consideration, the ROS committee made the difficult decision to cancel the event. As an alternative to the 'In-Person' event, ROS will be uploading information about participating artists, including examples of work. Sad News

It is with sadness that I have to report that Easton Walled Gardens are no longer offering a programme of workshops. Anybody who has already booked onto the workshops for 2021 will receive a refund from Easton Walled Gardens, and I have been told that delegates will be given my contact details. I will be attending the Country Fair, 6th September 2020, and hope to see as many of my previous students as possible.

I am saddened by this news as I feel such a deep connection with the Gardens and the team of lovely staff working there. I have met so many enthusiastic and wonderful delegates, and wish Easton Walled Gardens success with their business plans going forward.

As they say, though, when one door closes, another opens..........

Botanical Drawing & Illustration - Nottingham Trent University

As part of NTU's Short Course Programme, I am very excited to have been asked to deliver Botanical Drawing & Illustration. Each short course is made up of 4 Saturdays, 10.00am - 4.00pm. Bookings should be made via NTU; click on the photo on the left to be taken to the website. The first course commences 7 November 2020, and the second course (not linked to the first) is 24 April 2021. Whilst the courses are aimed at beginners, those with some experience are also welcome, as the class sizes allow for individual tuition.
