Hello and welcome. Thank you for visiting my website where you will find examples of my work, plus info about me and my nature-inspired art adventures.

I am drawn to the wonderful colours and textures of Nature, and spend hours depicting detail in watercolour, graphite and coloured pencil.

As a child I was encouraged by my grandmother and parents to explore art and creativity across different genres. My formative years were spent in a small village on the outskirts of Manchester, where we had access to all that the English natural world had to offer.

I have been involved with botanical art in particular since 2002, undertaking a 3-years' formal certificate in Botanical Illustration at Leicester College. I am a Fellow of the UK's Society of Botanical Artists, a painting member of the Eden Project Florilegium and a member of the Northamptonshire Botanical Artists' Society.

I now live in beautiful, rural Rutland. With so much countryside on my doorstep, I am passionate about  encouraging young, old and those in-between to spend time in nature, observing the seasonal changes and illustrating the natural world.

Please do get in touch should you wish more information about my work, regular art classes including botanical art, workshops and exhibitions.

Thank you
